Mariposa Gala
Celebrating Women’s Resilience and Sustaining the Fight for Our Future
WISE is excited to invite you to our first ever Mariposa Gala!
Join us for a night of uplifting the leadership of working and migrant women and celebrating their vibrant people’s victories and ongoing fights for change in our community.
Our Mariposa Gala will include a cocktail hour and silent auction, cultural performances, sharings from migrant women leaders, and a "virtual tour" of our vision for our WISE Resource Center to strengthen our ability to support the leadership of marginalized women as changemakers. All proceeds from this gala will go toward providing resources for working & migrant women and their families to sustain their changemaking efforts.
We invite you to dress in formal celebratory and/or cultural attire!
The Centilia Cultural Center is located next to the Beacon Hill Light Rail Station and is accessible by King County Metro lines 36 and 60. Parking is limited and we encourage carpooling.

To help the Mariposa Gala take flight, we need your help!
Sponsorship helps to:
cover the logistical costs of putting on a celebration gala,
sponsor ticket admission for our working & migrant women leaders to participate in the gala, and
provide key resources for the day-to-day needs of these women leaders and their families (such as transportation costs, health & hygiene supplies, and legal consultation sessions) to strengthen their participation in their organizing efforts.
